David LaFerriere introduces himself like this : “I’m the Dad that draws on sandwich bags“. And he is right. Since his child was a kid he has been drawing a different motive in his kid’s sandwich bags. He has then shot each drawing and post it in his Flickr. This means more than 1100 fun drawings to explore, while wondering how jealous this kid’s classmates would have been…
Quick approach to the work of Canadian designer Emmanuelle Walker, who is specialized in doing 2D and 3D animations.
Spanish interior designer Iñaki Aliste Lizarralde is, apparently, a fan of both floorplans and TV shows. At least this is what you guess after seeing his awesome drawings of popular TV Shows. It is fun because if you follow of any of this shows you’ll see how precise he is with the details of each plan, and how all the elements fit perfectly in each drawing. In his blog you’ll also learn what has been the base to create each plan, as sometimes the flats have changed throughout the seasons of each serie.

I certainly am in love with Natalyia’s sketches! I always wonder how easily can creative persons make something out of a sheet of paper, don’t you? Enjoy!

The Style Monk has recently convertec classic cartoon female characters into models for one day. The characters are wearing the differents outfits for this 2013 season. It’s from talented artist Cecilia Alfonso.
Charles Santoso, an artist currently residing in Sydney seemed to be bored with his job or school or whatever he spents his journeys on. I say it seems because a few months ago he created a blog, and therefore a project called Daily Random Word Doodle. He asks to his followers in Twitter to suggest a word, and then he picks up the first word that someone tweets. Then, he creates a digital illustration for each word and upload it in his blog.
Apparently, this allows him to keep him creative and I guess that he also takes pleasure out of it, judging by how fun the results are. It is a wonderful work of detail, humour and drawing techinque. Nevertheless I have to warn you that he doesn’t consider the drawings “finished” and they are just “doodles”. But I guess you and I both will agree that they look pretty fine to us…
I would strongly reccomend you to check out his other works, they really are amazing.
Lately, my sister has been doing some presents from friends who are moving abroad (by the way, have you noticed how many people is leaving?). As we all do, she has been looking for inspiration online and she emailed me some gift tags that she has liked. I couldn’t help it and three seconds later I was checking them and maaaaany more (yeap, guilty of spending one hour in front of the computer just doing this). I’ve been surprised for how many awesome free printable and do it yourself gift tags can be found!
I wanted to share it also with you, just in case all your friends start leaving or, simply, you want to give a personal touch to your presents!
